McDonald's is rereleasing the Grand Mac and Mac Jr. for a limited time.They're different-sized variations on the chain's iconic Big Mac. The Grand Mac is much larger while the Mac Jr. is a smaller, single-patty sandwich.Despite how it sounds, they're surprisingly practical for those who love Big Macs but either can't finish one or aren't fully satisfied by one.The Big Mac — America's burger — just got better. Well: bigger and smaller.This month marks the triumphant, albeit limited, return of the Mac Jr. and the Grand Mac, which were first released as limited items in January 2017. Brand Eating was first to report on the special burgers' return to menus, though McDonald's hasn't confirmed when and where the Mac Jr. and Grand Mac will be available.The Mac Jr. is a smaller, single-patty cheeseburger with all the other Big Mac accoutrements. In aid of the big birthday the UK is following in the fat flippin' steps of its creator's homeland (the good old US of A) by launching the Mac Jnr and the Grand Big Mac. Shut up and tell me more. OK, here's all the goss.Exactly three brand new sandwiches will be up for scoffing from February 7 to March 20, 2018. There's the birthday burger, AKA the original monster in all its two beef patties, special secret sauce, cheese pickles, onions and sesame seed bun glory.The Mac Jnr, basically the same thing but with one slab of meat as opposed two.And finally the mother of all things obesity, the Grand Big Mac, a behemoth of a creation featuring all the above, but just bigger, bolder and fatter.The new line-up isn't exactly healthy, but do it for the experience kids.
