Scroll down to the 'Fan Speed Control' section of the page. This section contains the RPM settings for the computer fans. Select the fan you would like to turn up and press 'Enter.' These are the settings for my CPU fan, but yours will differ, depending on the size and quality of your fan. 12.5% may be too low for most heatsinks, which are on the smaller side. Your CPU fan will likely have an option for a target temperature, in degrees Celsius, and a minimum speed, either in percentage or RPM. I tested each setting twice, to control for variables like other players, using the best result (and sometimes running one or two more tests if the first two results were wildly different).
Hello, last week I finished my first PC build.
I've noticed that my CPU cooler fans are annoyingly loud when I'm only on the desktop and the temperatures are only about 40-45°C. My cooler is the Corsair H100i v2. I then downloaded the Corsair Link to make a custom fan speed curve, with the result that now the cooler is quiet when on desktop but it's not increasing it's speed enough when gaming, even though, for testing purposes I set the speed to 100% when the CPU reaches 50°C.
Does anyone know a software that reliably changes the fan speed?
